PPP Direct!

Pay Per Post, a service I have written extensively about in the past, has come out with a new version. The biggest update is a new service they are calling PPP direct. Basically it allows advertisers to approach bloggers directly and haggle out a price (Pay Per Post takes a cut of it to the tune of 35%) instead of simply selecting an opportunity from the Pay Per Post website. They point out that ReviewMe or any competitors services you know that they charge between 50-100% markup on your post, so it is actually a good deal. They provide what is basically an escrow service, so that you can be sure that you will get paid if you do your job.

Using PPP direct offers bloggers several advantages, such as ease of use, the previously mentioned escrow service, tax reporting and some marketing Pay Per Post is doing specifically for bloggers who are using PPP direct. This service seems to be aimed at what Pay Per Post has called ‘quality bloggers’, that is blogs that have a significant following which are in a position to directly solicit advertisements. It is good that Pay Per Post is reaching out to these writers, but it should not forget the little guys with under 50 hits a day who get $5 a post. They are the ones Pay Per Post really helps by allowing them to make money blogging.

<*Disclosure-I was paid for this post*>
